Vans BMX Presents Angie Marino’s Enjoy The Ride, to serve as an inspiration for BMXers everywhere with it powerful message: Ride because you love it, no matter who you are.
Getting creative while parks were closed due to COVID, Angie took to the street to explore a different side of BMX, strengthening her skillset as a more well-rounded rider and further establishing herself as a BMX powerhouse. The part is meant to inspire others, and particularly up and coming BMXers, to get out in the streets and push their own riding.
Vans X Federal Presents "Speed Dial" | BMX | VANS
To celebrate the Vans x Federal collection, riders Anthony Perrin, Bruno Hoffmann and Dan Lacey escaped winter with a week in the Island of Tenerife. The excursion capped a very unexpected 2020 and the much needed escape and reconnection of the team after such a long period apart inspired some heavy, creative riding. Not even the announcement that UK was about to return to lockdown, forcing the trip to be cut short could put a damper on the brief moment of collective good vibes. The shared time together reminded everyone that our family and friends are only a “Speed Dial” away.
The first time Vans BMX's Dakota Roche had the opportunity to ride Philly was 13 years ago and since then, it’s held a special place in his heart. Although Dak grew up on the west coast, he has always had a love and fascination with the style of spots on the east coast. The grittiness, character and architecture just speaks to BMXers differently then anywhere else in the world... After 8 years since Dakota's last visit(and being cooped up for most of 2020), finally being free to rip around The City of Brotherly Love once again felt better than he could have imagined, and having the first ever Slip On BMX was the icing on the cake. Hope you enjoy the visual representation of Dak's time spent in Philadelphia, seeking liberty.
Vans x Cult BMX Presents: Trying Times | BMX | VANS
Vans & Cult reunite for the new mild-melting film, Trying Times, which chronicles the experience of a shared crew of BMX riders road tripping from Southern California to Las Vegas. Managing to keep things light and easy despite the currently challenging landscape, the film captures the camaraderie, core tenets of each brand and the iconic riding that backs it up. The team, including Dakota Roche, Angie Marino, and Sean Ricany, kept spirits high throughout the project, which is punctuated with CULT’s bold signature aesthetic.
Despite the level of uncertainty that has permeated 2020, the project brought a new level of stoke:
“Through it all, the one thing that remains unshaken is the love and passion for what we do. We will continue by any means necessary. 2010 UNTIL THE END.”—Dakota Roche
