This winter, for the first time ever, the workwear staple is receiving an upgraded, weatherized MTE treatment. The Drill Chore Coat MTE is now available in a 100% durable nylon 2L oxford shell with DWR coating and sustainable, thermoregulating DuPont Sorona fill.
An innovative material that combines superior insulation,
breathability and water resistance, DuPont Sorona fill was designed to
keep you cool and dry when you’re active – and conversely, maintain
warmth and cozy vibes in cold climates.
The coat is complete with a moisture-wicking liner, fully functional zip-off hood, extended corduroy collar, reflective labels on the front and back and a metal snap-closure storm flap for keeping wind out and body heat in.
The innovative design and functionality was created with professional skateboarders in mind, and as Vans continues to build on the popularity of this versatile coat, it was only natural to introduce the latest update – solidifying the Drill Chore Coat as a staple in cold-weather capsules everywhere.
Rounding out the Holiday MTE offering is the SK8-Hi MTE 2.0 DX – an update to the weatherized version of this classic silhouette. For both men’s and women’s styles, the already-impressive weatherproof upper is now engineered with easy-on and-off tongue and heel pulls, and a rubber toecap for added durability.
Vans’ MTE 360 heat retaining technology keeps feet warm and dry, and sees the addition of the UltraCush® molded drop-in sock liner and added Achilles cushioning. The shoe is finished off with a rugged boot lug MTE sole for ultimate traction – the result of 20 years of experience in the snow boot game.
