Olivia Bee Takes
a Vision Walk
"Photography is a way to explore the world in front of you."
Vans' ethos on creative expression is simple-you don't need professional training, instruction, or equipment to make art. You just need to have an idea and the desire to create something. With a camera in everyone's pocket, photography has become an art form accessible to us all-every moment can be captured instantly, and in turn each of those photos has the power to convey a certain idea or memory.
"There's no right or wrong way to make a picture." "There's no right or wrong way to be a creative person." "Just don't be afraid of making stuff."
"I think it's really cool to be able to make a picture more than a picture." "So I use a lot of toys and pushing that further…" "what you see is not just what everybody else might see."
"Photography for me exists in two different steps." "The first one is that I make pictures for myself." "The second step is that I put those pictures out into the world."
