Vans is excited to introduce the latest addition to the MTE collection. Made for the elements, but comfortable enough for everyday wear, Vans’ all new Sk8-Hi MTE-2 packs a quarter century of snowboard boot experience and technology into an iconic Vans silhouette.

The Sk8-Hi MTE-2 was built for those who want an all-weather shoe for days with unpredictable weather but don’t want to sacrifice style.  Features include a new outsole built with All-Trac™, an MTE exclusive all-weather rubber compound that offers significantly improved traction, HydroGuard™ 360° water resistant membrane in place to keep feet dry, PrimaLoft® zonal insulation package for cold weather thermoregulation to keep warm and a single-density, and a molded sockliner for added comfort. Plus, the durable water resistant-treated leather uppers and graphic details bring an iconic Vans aesthetic to this uncompromising cold weather comfort.

New for Fall 2021, the Sk8-Hi MTE-2 comes in two retro-inspired colorways, both elevated by rich weatherproofed suede uppers.

The Khaki and black colorways is a versatile neutral, featuring khaki-colored uppers with marshmallow accents and striking black color blocking on the quarter and tongue. True to the Sk8-Hi style it was adapted from, it features Vans’ iconic Sidestripe in marshmallow, coordinating with the toe cap and collar. Gold and black hiking boot inspired laces give a nod to the rugged all-weather durability of the shoe. The shade carries over to the gold flag and tongue tags while a khaki foxing stripe completes the look.

The pomegranate and leopard colorway is a bold fashion-forward option, featuring deep merlot and brick red uppers with a khaki collar, electric blue Sidestripe and pull tabs, as well as leopard color blocking on the quarters and tongue. White and black hiking-inspired laces, a marshmallow sole and a black foxing stripe pull it all together.

The Sk8-Hi MTE-2 will be available beginning September 2021 online and at Vans retail locations.
