In partnership with Pitchfork & NXNE, Vans brings Brooklyn based institution House of Vans back to Toronto for a second time on June 18th. The one night event will showcase a wide range of musical acts from the likes of politically charged lyricist Vince Staples, straight shooting feminist Hip Hop artist Tink, 3 piece instrumental act Sannhet, haunting folk singer/songwriter Jessica Pratt, Amen Dunes, Majical Cloudz, and up-and-coming techno artist Container.
Spectators on the mezzanine will enjoy a breathtaking view as the performers play on the stage of the Grand Ballroom at Berkeley church. Built in 1871, it is arguably Toronto's most original event venue.
Doors will be open at 6pm on Thursday night, attendees will be greeted with a special gift package including a limited edition t-shirt showcasing the psychedelic work of Toronto based artist Jon Todd. The first act is set to take the stage at 7pm. Fans of fine music and good times are urged to lock down their tickets before it's too late.
Tickets are available online at http://nxne.com/tickets/.
