Starting today, select Vans Stores are selling tickets for a number of Vans Warped Tour shows this year for $40 and while supplies last. The shows are in Oceanport, Portland, Nassau, Mountain View, San Diego, Sacramento, Dallas and Virginia Beach. Check a map and list of the over 30 stores where you can pick up the tickets. Rock on!

We caught up with Vans BMX Team rider Ryan Guettler at the trails in Huntington Beach, CA to ask him about progression and what drives him to keep pushing his riding year after year.  Spliced in with ramp riding from his hometown of Greenville, NC, Ryan shows that his injuries are a thing of the past and he has been on the fast track back to the top.

The Masters comp was followed by an exciting Pro Division final that saw 16-year old Brazilian phenom Pedro Barros score his first Pro-tec Pool Party win and $30,000 while edging out veteran Pros Rune Glifberg who took home second and Andy Macdonald who placed third. Two-time defending champion Bucky Lasek had to sit this one out due to a recently fractured ankle. The Pro division is seeing an influx of new talented skaters as in addition to Barros, the top ten also included 18-year old Nolan Munro in fourth, 20-year old Alex Perelson in fifth, 14-year old Steve Pineiro ...

Vans MX rider Ryan Villopoto won his first Monster Energy AMA Supercross championship Saturday night, finishing third in the season finale at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. Villopoto won a series-high six races this season and edged out race winner Chad Reed by four points in the 17-race championship. Congrats on winning the title, Ryan!

Tonight is an important night in Sin City; it's the AMA Supercross Championships! Vans MX Team riders are ready to show off what they got. Ryan Villopoto is the points leader and up for the Supercross Championship, Brock Tickle and Josh Hansen are sitting in first and third in the Lites West Championship and Dean Wilson sitting second is up for the Lites East Championship. After all he's a professional skateboarder, co-owner of FLIP skateboards, namesake of his own Vans shoe line, head designer of this year’s Maloof Money Cup skateboarding contest courses, and now patron saint of the gospel of skateboarding, spreading the good news to those less fortunate. With time going by so fast these days, we wanted to give you an extra heads up about this event. One of the Vans Warped Tour's Main Stage Bands, The Devil Wears Prada will sign autographs and meet with fans at the Vans Store at Town East Mall in Mesquite, TX on June 23rd. You know the rules by now. Stop by the Vans Store starting Thursday, June 9th and get your free wristband to attend. There will be limited attendance and wristbands are first come first served and while supplies last.

With nearly 400 entries and almost 180,000 votes, the top five schools were finally narrowed down in the Vans Custom Culture Program. The five finalists are: Dos Pueblos High School in Goleta, CA; Franklin Pierce High School in Tacoma, WA; Moanalua High School in Honolulu, HI; Ward Melville High School from East Setauket, NY; and Eastern High School from Louisville, KY. In addition to the $50,000 donation to the school’s art program, the winning sneaker designs will also be available at retail in 2012.

Vans Monster Energy Kawasaki athlete Ryan Villopoto takes the top spot on the podium in Salt Lake City this past Saturday night! With all the snow flurries this past weekend at the stadium you would have thought that there was going to be a snowmobile race instead of a supercross race. Despite the cold conditions, Villopoto brought the heat by taking the overall podium and adding a nine point lead advantage over second place.
