Celebrating creativity, Create Your Mark transformed Vans' Greenpoint warehouse venue into the ultimate summer DIY party for more than 1,000 revelers. Utilizing the walls of Vans' skate bowl, we hosted a mirror installation where guests drew their own designs directly on the mirrors, frames, couches and posters with markers, lipstick or stickers. The patio became the scene of a backyard summer party with a BBQ, food truck, picnic tables, benches and even an inflatable kiddie pool. Attendees were encouraged to carve their names or sweet messages onto a large wooden "CYM" logo sign coated with a silver metallic layer ...

The Born - Free Show has quickly become recognized as the as the leading spot to gather and share in the creative freedom found in all facets of the motorcycle. We are extremely excited to announce the addition of Dane Reynolds to the Vans Surf Team. Dane is one of the most exciting and unique surfers to date and brings a quiet sort of revolution with him. His approach is completely different to what's been done and his reach touches every facet of surfing. For decades Vans has been home for people choosing their own path and it’s a pleasure to be able to uphold that principle to this day and have Dane become a part of it.

The Maloof Road Tour, a 12-week RV tour across the country, is in full force and heading to Kansas City, Missouri for the upcoming weekend, June 18th and 19th. Vans family member and amazing artist Marco Zamora has an exhibition starting this Saturday, June 11th. The opening reception starts at 6pm at the POVevolving Gallery in Los Angeles. Vans is pleased to announce the 2011 Vans House Parties, a free summer music series live from the House of Vans in Brooklyn, NY. In conjunction with Los Angeles-based concert promoter FYF, Vans is presenting the six-night concert series in the 25,000 square foot renovated warehouse in Greenpoint. The Vans House Parties kick off with the first event on Thursday, June 30th with No Age, HEALTH and Cults. Doors open at 7 pm. Vans is excited to introduce Australian surfer Wade Goodall as part of the Vans Global Surf Team roster. Hailing from the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia, Goodall, 24, spent his teen years establishing himself as a force in the competitive ranks, winning the Australasian Pro Junior Series in 2006 while also capturing titles on the global airshow circuit as he honed his skills alongside elite aerialists.

The Vans Custom Culture finals wrapped up last night at the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in New York City. In attendance were judges Tony Alva, Jordan Buckley from Every Time I Die, Nicole Young, Hayden Panettiere, and Mister Cartoon, who each faced the difficult task of picking a winner out of a very talented group of finalists. In the end it was Ward Mellville High School from Long Island, NY who scored $50,000 for their school's art program. Congratulations to all who participated on a job well done! Each park is holding five summer skate sessions for beginner to advanced street skateboarders ages 6 - 16. Cost is $170 for members and $195 for non-members.
