Vans took three groups of BMX riders, gave them each a camera, and sent them on a trip across Europe. This edit includes shredding from Dakota Roche, Gary Young and many more. So, here it is - the result of three teams in three different cities. An experiment with all the riders filming themselves bro cam, so sit back and enjoy their views and angles.

The Empire Backyard Party presented by Vans, Canada’s biggest mini ramp contest, is going down this Saturday, October 30th at South-Parc Skatepark with $20,000 (CDN) up for grabs! Set against a backdrop of the one and only Vans Motel, the Backyard Party is going to be an epic skate session along with food, drinks, giveaways and special appearances by Steve Van Doren and John Cardiel. Vans Presents The HIC Pro is off today. The conditions are unfavorable with blown out 2-3 ft waves at Sunset Beach. Forecasters are tracking a possible swell for Monday, so stay tuned for more updates. Aloha.

The 14-day holding period for the 3-day HIC Pro, presented by Vans, will begin tomorrow, Thursday, October 28, at Sunset Beach on Oahu's North Shore. This last chance qualifier for the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing features 112 surfers from seven nations including Japan, Brazil, Venezuela and Australia as well as Pancho Sullivan - a multiple champion of the event, Myles Padaca, Joel Centeio, and defending champion Hank Gaskell. Make sure to check back every morning to check the event status so you don't miss a minute of the action.

Check out Vans team rider Geoff Rowley in the new Tony Hawk: SHRED game which allows players to 'Get on board and go big' with supersized skate and snowboarding using a motion-sensing board controller. Brush up on your skills at the next skateboard clinic at Vans Skateparks. Both parks in Orange, CA and Orlando, FL will be holding a skate clinic on Saturday, November 20th from 8am - 12pm. Instruction is given by certified Vans skatepark instructors for street skateboarders ages 6 - 16 on all skill levels. Cost is $40 for members and $50 for nonmembers. The North Shore awoke from it's slumber this week by thrashing waves measuring up to 15 feet signaling the start of Hawaii's $1.1 million dollar surf season. Vans as the presenting sponsor, the event has been upgraded to an $85,000, ASP-sanctioned 4-star event. This will
be the final qualifier for the prestigious Vans Triple Crown of Surfing, which includes the Reef Hawaiian Pro, The O'Neill
World Cup of Surfing and the Billabong Pipeline Masters. The HIC Pro will be staged on the best three days of surf within
the holding period, which runs October 28th through November 10th.

The inaugural Vital BMX Game of BIKE contest is going down today, Saturday, October 9. Game of BIKE was created by Vital BMX with the goals of giving riders a fun and unique contest and giving back to the action sports community. 32 riders from around the world will compete head-to-head for a $10,000 purse. Where else can you see the top board companies in skateboarding bring their top pros and ams to rip custom-built obstacles created just for one night of skate, food and drinks? The 6th Vans Downtown Showdown presented by Rockstar Energy Drink took place again this year at the Paramount Studios back lot on Saturday night with top street skaters attacking four features submitted by the Girl, Black Label, Zero and Foundation teams. The Pretzel Grip crew combining Girl and Anti-Hero riders claimed team honors and $30,000, while Nick Merlino won $8,500 as top am and Vincent Alvarez was named top pro pocketing $7,500.
