Once again doing it with authority by taking both moto wins, RV captured his fourth straight overall victory, and effectively extended his series points lead to well over a full race. Ryan&apos;s Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki teammate Austin Stroupe also landed on the podium, finishing the evening with third overall honors. The series rolls on this coming 4th of July weekend at Red Bud Track & Trail in Buchanan, Michigan, where last year Villopoto went 1-1 for the overall win. In the second moto, RV left himself a bit of work to do after rounding lap number one in the eighth spot, but by lap eight he had worked his way into the lead, and never looked back. The rider swept the weekend&apos;s motos at the Monster Energy Freestone Motocross National. Fiolek took Saturday&apos;s moto after grabbing the Meterman Holeshot Award and showcased one of the greatest races in WMA history with a head-to-head battle with Jessica Patterson, winning by just half a bike length. <br /><br />In the final moto, it was Fiolek again nabbing the holeshot with Patterson in tow. After setting the fastest lap times in every timed qualifying session, RV went on to decimate his competition, leading every single lap of both motos on Sunday. Villopoto&apos;s convincing win was enough to propel him into the early lead in the championship points chase, and the defending champ now has his sites set on a third straight Lites-class National title.
