After a rain delay on Saturday the boys came out and owned the Wellington Bowl on Sunday. Omar finished third while young Josh Borden came in a respectable 6th place.

"I finally got a decent start to put myself in position to stay up front, and that&apos;s exactly what I did," Stroupe said after the race. Brett Metcalfe also had a solid night, finishing second in his heat and fifth overall in the main. Stroupe and Metcalfe now sit in third and fourth, respectively, in the championship point chase. The series heads even further east next weekend to Atlanta so stay tuned for a full Vans recap!

Lucky for me there were some firing lefts that were coming in every day and I was able to sneak a couple in "almost" all of my heats.  I made it to the quarterfinals and then my luck ran out and I lost there.  This has been my best WQS event result and I&apos;m super stoked that it happend at the beginning of the year in a 6 star.  Hopefully this will help pave my 08 tour results and I can do well in the the other few comps here in Australia.  I&apos ...
